ABOUT THE TRANSPRIDE
TransAmsterdam organized the Amsterdam TransPride from 2014 to 2018. The TransPride aims to improve and strengthen the image of transgender people. Since 2019, various transgender organizations have been organizing a widely supported TransPride. Together with Alle Kleur Oost, TransAmsterdam organizes Pride Oost, a TransPodium and the TransWalk.

In 2016 composer Monique Krüs wrote and composed the TransPride Anthem Trans and Proud for us. Singer Agnes Geneva performed the TransPride Anthem for the first time during the TransPride 2016.

TransPride Walk
Saturday 28 July
As a trans community, we walk along with the Pride Walk. We gather at 11 uur at the Homomonument near the large trans flag and walk from the gay monument to the Pride Park in Vondelpark at 12.00. Everyone is welcome.
TransPride opening
Sunday 29 July
The festive opening is from 17:00 to 17:45 at the Generator outside in the Oosterpark. From 17:45 to 19:00 there are various performances, speakers and acts in the Auditorium of the Generator. After 19:00 there are various performances, acts, DJs and dancing in the Ooster Bar http://www.oosterbar.com/ of the Generator. In theNescio cafe visitors can grab a bite to eat.
Theme meeting transgender refugees/asylum seekers
Monday July 30
From 20:00 Theme meeting Transgender refugees/asylum seekers. During the theme meeting we will talk to transgender refugees/asylum seekers, transgender experience experts, refugee workers and COA.
Theme meeting Transgenders: suicide and suicide prevention
Tuesday, August 1.
From 20:00 to 1:00 there is a Transgenders Themed Meeting: Suicide and Suicide Prevention. Lately, we've been hearing more and more about suicide among transgender people. Together we will discuss the theme 'Suicide and prevention'.
TransPride Walk-Pride East
Wednesday August 2
The TransPride Walk East starts at 15:00. We gather from 14:00 at the Generator in the Oosterpark, with a large flag, music and acts. At 15:00 walk to the opening of the Pride East on the Javaplein. In this way we want to make contact with the neighbourhood, the residents and build a bridge between the TransPride and Pride East. Along the way we hand out flowers to the public. We are present all day with an information booth. There are speakers, acts and performances.
Trans Art Culture Fair
Thursday 3 and Friday 4 August
Trans Art Culture Fair at the AmsterdamMuseum will be organized from 14:00 to 22:00. For two days we showed different transgender and cisgender talents.
