Our team was invited to the Freedom Lunch in the garden of the Rijksmuseum on Liberation Day. A beautiful day and an amazing location for meeting each other. On behalf of TransAmsterdam, Rubi Validor and Agnes Geneva attended the Remembrance Day ceremony on May 4. At 20:00, two minutes of silence were observed in Amsterdam and across the Netherlands in memory of the victims of the Second World War and subsequent conflicts. At the Homomonument, special attention was given to people who had been and were being persecuted because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. The programme had been preceded at 18:30 by a lecture at
