Our team was invited to the Freedom Lunch in the garden of the Rijksmuseum on Liberation Day. A beautiful day and an amazing location for meeting each other.
A special event filled with love where we met beautiful people and were treated to a wonderfully tender dance performance while enjoying a delicious Freedom Lunch, courtesy of the Rijksmuseum.
This day was a reminder of the importance of unity and the need to build bridges, regardless of cultural or religious background, gender identity, or sexual preference. Togetherness, freedom, and love are core themes of Liberation Day and need to be strived for during the rest of the year.
Trans Amsterdam organizes Cafe InClusion every last Friday of the month at the Plein Theater: everyone is welcome and the Liberation Day themes of unity, freedom, and love are at the heart of this evening.
Our team wishes to thank the Rijksmuseum; we enjoyed our Freedom Lunch and hope to attend again next year! 🏳️⚧️

Our team was delighted to meet Willemijn van Drie, founder of Churchill Pride, at the Rijksmuseum Liberation Lunch on Liberation Day.
Our chair, Yvo Vas Dias, thanked her on behalf of the entire team for her efforts in organizing the rainbow flag campaign in the Rivierenbuurt. Yvo presented her with a trans flag pin as a token of appreciation. 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈
