Our guest of honor at TransAmsterdam's anniversary celebration is Kalki Subramaniam. Kalki is an Indian transgender activist, artist, poet, writer, actor, fashion designer, and founder of the Sahodari Foundation. She is also an ambassador for TransAmsterdam. Especially for this evening, she will present her inclusive fashion show, Kals - Bling and Bold Couture - Fashion Walk, where models will showcase Kalki's handmade shrugs, a stylish and powerful representation of her vision on inclusivity and fashion.
A unique part of the evening will be an Indian trans ceremony. This special ceremony symbolizes justice and visibility and will take place in Amsterdam for the very first time.
