Dit jaar was het een bijzondere, mooie en liefdevolle Transgender Day of Visibility bij ons Trans and Friends café InClusion 31/3/2023 at A Beautiful Mess – Amsterdam in het Manor Hotel. Jean coördinator Trans Art School, secretatis/penningmeester en Yvo oprichter en voorzitter waren onze host. We hadden een geweldig live optreden van crooner David Brown. Samen met het publiek ging David uit volle borst scatten. David zong de sterren van de hemel.
Onze voorzitter Yvo Vas Dias gaf een indrukwekkende speech. Jan-Bert Vroege, lid van het dagelijks bestuur van stadsdeel Oost, met portefeuilles o.a. Kunst en Cultuur, Inclusie en Antidiscriminatiebeleid gaf een mooie motivatiespeech.
Ineke van stichting Hart voor je stad gaf een verbindende speech en nam Eberhardjes (koekjes) voor ons mee!
Vero vrijwilliger bij TransAmsterdam vertelde zijn coming-out verhaal als transman en leerkracht.
Ballonartiest Sandra Chaudron van Bloony’s Balloons en Bloony’s Ballonschool maakte prachtige ballonnenfiguren voor ons met de kleuren van de transgendervlag.
De hele avond konden onze gasten bij Sam prachtige hennapaintings laten maken, roze, witte en blauwe schmink en nagellak laten verzorgen.
Iedereen voelde zich Trans and Proud!
This year it was a unique, beautiful, and loving Transgender Day of Visibility at our Trans and Friends cafe InClusion 31/3/2023 at A Beautiful Mess – Amsterdam at the Manor Hotel. Jean, coordinator Trans Art School, secretary/treasurer, and Yvo founder and chairman were our hosts. We had an outstanding live performance by crooner David Brown. Together with the audience, David scatted at the top of his lungs. David sang the stars of heaven.
Our chairman Yvo Vas Dias gave an impressive speech. Jan-Bert Vroege, Executive Committee of the East district with portfolios including Art and Culture, Inclusion, and Anti-discrimination Policy gave an excellent motivational speech.
Ineke from the Hart voor je stad foundation gave a connecting speech and brought Eberhardjes (cookies) for us!
Vero, volunteer at TransAmsterdam told his coming-out story as a trans man and teacher.
Balloon artist Sandra Chaudron of Bloony’s Balloons and Bloony’s Balloon School made beautiful balloon figures for us with the colours of the transgender flag.
Our guests could have Sam make a beautiful henna painting and pink, white and blue face paint and nail polish throughout the evening.
Everyone felt Trans and Proud!
